Euroleague Basketball (EB) is a global leader in the sports and entertainment business, devoted to running the top European competitions of professional basketball clubs under a unique and innovative organizational model. Owned and administered by some of the most successful and historic clubs in the world, EB manages the continent’s two premier men’s basketball competitions, the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the BKT EuroCup, as well as the sport’s premier under-18 showcase, the EB Adidas Next Generation Tournament.
EuroLeague Regular Season begins in early October, finishing by April, and followed by the new Play-In Showdown where the final Playoff spot will be decided. The Final Four in May is the premiere event of the European basketball calendar. The last stage of a grueling eight-month season, held every season at a predetermined neutral site, brings the best four teams on the continent together for a single-elimination weekend of great basketball at the end of which only one team is crowned.
EuroCup Regular Season (with the new format of 20 teams divided in two groups of 10) begins in October, finishing in early February, followed by the Eighthfinals and Quarterfinals. The Quarterfinals winners will advance to the best-of-three Semifinals. The EuroCup Finals, with the best-of-three format, will conclude with the crowning of the champion.
