Almost 50 years ago, the question was asked...who was the World’s Strongest Man? Since then, this championship has been the final word on who is the strongest of them all. From Niece to Nassau, Malta to Morocco, each year athletes become bigger and stronger than the year before. They push their bodies to the limit through a series of exhilarating events, sometimes even risking their lives in the process.
The 2025 edition of the World’s Strongest Man will go down in history as Reyno Nel became the first-ever South African to claim the coveted title. Nel secured a hard-fought victory over reigning champion Tom Stoltman, just one year after Stoltman captured his third World's Strongest Man crown. With 25 elite athletes competing in a series of electrifying events—including deadlifts, the Titan’s Toss, Atlas Stones, and more—each competitor brought their absolute best in pursuit of glory at the 2025 SBD World’s Strongest Man.
